Extend the Life of Carpet
There are
three things you can do to extend
the life of your carpet: VACUUM, VACUUM, VACUUM. Like any other fiber, carpet will last longer with the proper maintenance.
Frequent vacuuming will keep abrasive soils from cutting and prematurely wearing the carpet fiber.
Avoid using
carpet cleaning processes and spot cleaners with a soapy, powder or foamy base. They leave a residue in the carpet
fibers. Soapy spots have a tendency to yellow, and reappear, and leave sticky residue that resoils quickly. That's
the reason when you shampoo your hair, you rinse thoroughly - to ensure no sticky residue is left behind.
We recommend cleaning your carpets at least once a year - every 6 months if you have pets, or small children playing on
the carpet.
